Hacienda Barú Canopy Tour
The canopy tour mimics the flight of a toucan as it takes off from a branch, soars through the forest, and reaches another tree. On this tour, seven separate zip lines will take you from one point to another, over valleys and streams. There are 13 ground-based platforms and one treetop platform overlooking the coast. The zip line tour we call the Toucan's Flight is both an eco-experience and a canopy adventure. This tour is suitable for the whole family. Most groups see wildlife and birds, such as monkeys, sloths, and toucans, during the 45-minute nature walk to reach the first zip line. It's a great way to observe and learn about the tropical rainforest while enjoying an adventure.
